COD: Warzone/Vanguard Nikita AVT Build Guide: Best Loadout

COD: Warzone/Vanguard Nikita AVT Build Guide: Best Loadout

The Nikita AVT is one of the new guns introduced in the Season 3 Classified Arms update for both Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone. Although it is not an overpowered gamechanger, it is still a strong addition to your arsenal. Though technically an Assault Rifle, this is one weapon which arguably plays more like an SMG due to its increased mobility and firing rate. The gun features a full-auto mode that shreds enemies in three to four shots, keeping it in line with other guns of the same class. It should be easy to pick up for players who usually run Assault Rifles, or who want to try one out.

How to Unlock The Nikita AVT

The Nikita AVT is unlocked as part of Season 3’s Battle Pass. It is a free reward unlocked at tier 31. After the season ends, the gun will still be unlockable by completing a yet to be available challenge.

Why The Nikita AVT?

The Nikita AVT boasts an impressive fire rate that is super effective at close range, but remains viable in mid-ranged encounters. As an Assault Rifle that can play similar to an SMG, its recoil can be erratic, but is controllable with the right build. Damage multipliers to the chest makes this an easy three shot kill against non-armored enemies. You’ll be able to push your opponent’s positions quickly with its mobility and annihilate them once up close. With the right build, the Nikita AVT is a strong primary that just about anyone can pick up and have success with.

Best Nikita AVT Loadout

Muzzle – Mercury Silencer
Barrel – Empress 613mm BFA
Optic – Slate Reflector
Stock – Kovalevskaya Folding
Underbarrel – M1941 Hand Stop
Magazine – MR 25 Round Fast Mags
Ammo Type – Hollow Point
Rear Grip – Fabric Grip
Perk – Brace
Kit – Fully Loaded

This Nikita AVT build focuses on upping the stats that the base gun is already good at, namely mobility, while also increasing important stats around time to kill. Overall, this is a balanced build that emphasizes mobility, recoil control, and quick kills.

For our muzzle we have chosen the Mercury Silencer. The most crucial aspect of using a silencer is that your shots will be hidden from the minimap. Additionally, this silencer gives minor boosts to your accuracy and range (although range isn’t really something we are focusing on in this build). Our barrel selection, the Empress 613mm BFA also improves accuracy and range, with some much needed recoil control. We will make up the losses in mobility with other parts of the loadout.

Our optic choice is the Slate Reflector, a basic sight, good at short to mid-range engagements and viable for longer ranges. Since this build focuses on those close-range encounters, this is an obvious pick, but scopes are one of the few negotiable attachments that you can experiment with and see what works best for you.

Our perk choice is Brace, which adds a small boost to accuracy and recoil control for your initial shot. This pairs very nicely with our Ammo Type choice. The most important part of this build is Hollow Point, which guarantees three shot kills to any part of the body. Not only will you be hitting three-shots to the chest, you’ll even be getting them on their toes and fingers. These two paired together practically guarantee a kill if you get the jump on an enemy.

Focusing more on our accuracy and recoil control, the choices for our stock, underbarrel, and rear grip are clear. For a stock, we chose the Kovalevskaya Folding to sharply increase recoil control and ADS speed, while giving us a little extra mobility. Our underbarrel choice is the M1941 Hand Stop. This underbarrel gives us even more recoil control, without negatively affecting recoil control like other popular underbarrel choices. For rear grip, go with the Fabric Grip. Continuing our ADS speed and mobility buffs.

Our magazine choice is the MR 25 Round Fast Mag. This magazine is an okay pick, and is only included due to the faster reload time. None of the other magazine choices add much value, as you will tear through bullets with this gun, no matter how large your magazine count is. Since we aren’t taking a higher round magazine, we recommend Fully Loaded for your Kit.

As for your perks, we like to use Double Time to increase sprint duration, Ghost to stay off enemy UAVs, and Combat Scout to track enemies you’re shooting. Like the optics, there is some flexibility in the Perks, so make sure to experiment and pick ones that suit your playstyle.

Why Not The Nikita AVT?

The Nikita AVT suffers from two major problems. The first is the very low magazine capacity when compared to other guns of the same class. This wouldn’t be as much of an issue if the fire rate wasn’t so high, but at the same time, the extremely high fire rate makes this gun a great option. Our fast mag choice mitigates this slightly, not by increasing our magazine capacity, but by increasing reload speed; none of the other Assault Rifles suffer from this issue. The second problem is the slow strafe speed. Another strange issue to have with an Assault Rifle, but as mentioned previously, the Nikita AVT plays much more similarly to an SMG. Luckily, these issues don’t negate the use of this gun; using our build and the right playstyle will see you have success.
