The way trials work is that getting at least one point during the first four days unlocks the reward for that day. This applies to both Battle Royale and Zero Build playlists, regardless of party size (Solos, Duos, Trios, Squads). In addition, there is a stretch goal each day where, if you complete it, you automatically unlock the Leadlight wrap. If you complete a second stretch goal on a different day, you also unlock the Dream Lantern back bling.
If you happen to miss any daily challenges, you have an additional chance on the last day (April 24) to unlock all of them or the ones you have missed by getting at least one point. As to how to get points, that depends on the daily challenge. During the first day, each elimination you obtain in-game grants you one point, which may serve as a reference.
