How to Unlock Galactic Mode in Mario Strikers Battle League

Galactic Mode has the most challenging A.I. opponents in Mario Strikers: Battle League, but players will need to unlock the new difficulty.

Galactic Mode offers a new challenge for players who are looking to face tougher opponents in Mario Strikers: Battle League. Although Galactic Mode is not available for players to select at the beginning of the game, the difficulty applies to matches against A.I.-controlled characters in Mario Strikers: Battle League. Galactic Mode is the hardest difficulty setting for players to select, so some may find it best to have a strong understanding of the game’s fundamentals before facing the toughest opponents in Mario Strikers: Battle League.

Fortunately, long before Galactic Mode can be unlocked in Mario Strikers: Battle League, players will need to complete every Cup Battle on the Normal difficulty setting. Each Cup Battle consists of three matches in order to win it at a minimum, but players can still win any given cup after losing because of the loser’s bracket. Once every Cup Battle has been completed, players will then need to win the Championship Cup in order to move onto Galactic Mode.

Galactic Mode can only be unlocked after players win the Championship Cup, along with every other Cup Battle in the game. While some of the best characters builds in Mario Strikers: Battle League will help players find success in every Cup Battle on their way to unlocking Galactic Mode, individual skill levels will determine how easy it is to win every match along the way. To further make every Cup Battle easier, players should spend their coins on new gear for the characters they play the most as only. This will allow them to not only improve their most used options in Mario Strikers: Battle League, but it will also help players save coins for more expensive gear along the way.

Immediately upon beginning their first Galactic Mode match in Mario Strikers: Battle League, some players may notice that the A.I.’s in-game awareness has improved tremendously. Players will need to acquire new unlockable gear in Mario Strikers: Battle League in order to have an easier time keeping up with the improved difficulty for each cup. Furthermore, players should tactically use their power-ups each match to create opportunities for open shots or stop an opponent from shooting.

Once every Cup Battle has been won on Galactic Mode, players will then unlock the Galactic Mode for the Championship Cup in Mario Strikers: Battle League. The Galatic Mode Championship Cut is the most challenging cup to win in the game. However, by the time players have reached this level, they’ll likely have mastered everything they’ll need to achieve victory.
