Minecraft Frog Enchanted with Multishot Has Multiple Tongues

Minecraft players are known for their fun and quirky antics and recently a player discovered how to enchant in-game frogs to use multishot.

Minecraft players are known for their antics and recently a player discovered how to enchant in-game frogs. There is a lot to do in Minecraft and players frequently divide their time between mining, exploring, and building but the other popular element of Minecraft is the enchanting aspect. With this, players are able to add new abilities to their weapons and one such ability is multishot.

Multishot can be popular when trying to take down multiple enemies in a mob, as it is an ability that the player’s bow and arrow take on. The three arrows are quite effective when it comes to handling too many zombies, or trying to deflect a Creeper from blowing up hours of hard work and the added benefit is that it only consumes one arrow instead of three. Many players enjoy using multishot to shoot off the firework rocket, which can either be used to make a pretty aerial show or to inflict some damage on a faraway mob. Regardless, multishot has been a fan favorite use of the enchanting table for quite some time. Thanks to some experimental Minecraft Wild Update features, frogs are now on the list of animals players can find in the wild and even use the multishot ability on.

Reddit user WratekPL discovered that these new frogs can be enchanted and decided to try something out on one. They used the multishot enchantment on the frog to see exactly what would happen and the results did not disappoint. They shared the image of the frog sitting in the center of a field, using its tongue to attack multiple slimes. Though it isn’t clear exactly what the multiple tongues would be used for, it is an interesting and bizarre site to see. Frogs do use their tongue to attack slimes and magma cubes, but they are unable to go after any larger mobs like zombies or skeletons. Having the ability to use a frog in a mob fight might be something that a modder decides to attempt once the full Minecraft update is released.

Regardless of the usefulness of the multishot tongues, the Minecraft Reddit community enjoyed the idea of trying to enchant the frog in the first place. One commenter joked that the frog is not actually enchanted, it’s just so fast that the tongue appears multiple times over. Another one questioned why this was necessary in the first place. Many others just enjoyed the idea of being able to enchant animals, and it is likely that this will not be the last animal enchantment to come from this revelation.

There are never-ending possibilities in the world of Minecraft. From building to enchanting, the amount of things to do is enough to keep players entertained for many years to come. With the next update and the new biomes that will be available, the hours of Minecraft content will continue to add up and the creativity in the community will likely blossom even more.
