Mr. Mumbray Calls Rémy Family ‘Friends For Life’ After Exit

Mr. Mumbray Calls Rémy Family ‘Friends For Life’ After Exit

Although Ms. Rémy said goodbye to Mr. Mumbray on The Courtship, he says that he will remain friends with her and her family members for life.

After Mr. Mumbray’s heartbreaking exit on The Courtship, he called Ms. Nicole Rémy and her family “friends for life.” Mr. Mumbray, whose first name is Charlie, is a 25-year-old at-home personal trainer from Kent, England. Charlie’s biggest obstacle on the show was that he had never been in love before. However, he tried very hard to win Nicole’s heart. He not only became a great friend to Nicole, but he also was a favorite of her court, which was made up of her parents, Mr. Claude Rémy and Dr. Claire Spain-Rémy, her sister, Danie Baker, her brother, Dominique Rémy, and her best friend, Tessa Cleary.

Although Charlie had many sweet moments on The Courtship, one in particular stands out. When latecomer Miles Nazaire joined the cast, Charlie revealed that he knew him from before the show. He said that Miles had a reputation for stealing other men’s girlfriends, and so he decided to step up his game to impress Nicole. He surprised her with a lemon drizzle cake, which made her very happy. However, Miles interrupted their time together, bringing her gifts, including a two-tier cake. Not wanting to be outdone, Charlie later interrupted Nicole and Miles’ conversation during a group dinner, and Nicole laughed about their rivalry. Charlie was a good sport about it, chuckling along with her. However, in the end, Nicole said goodbye to Charlie at the Farewell Dance because she felt that they were just good friends.

After his elimination, The Courtship fan favorite Charlie tweeted about his future relationship with Nicole and her court, writing, “I know I’ve made friends for life with the Rémy family.” He also added a comment writing, “How can I forget my man @RealDomRemy too. Much love.” Nicole responded to the tweet with star and heart emojis.

I know I’ve made friends for life with the Remy family @nicoleeremy @heydaniebakes What an incredible experience, thank you to all who helped create this amazing show and most importantly all of you tuning in each week showing support! Lord Mumbray out ✌️#thecourtship

Charlie then went on to express his gratitude for his time on The Courtship, writing, “What an incredible experience, thank you to all who helped create this amazing show and most importantly all of you tuning in each week showing support! Lord Mumbray out [peace sign emoji].” In a separate tweet, Charlie explained the backstory of Nicole sometimes referring to him as Lord Mumbray instead of Mr. Mumbray. This is because he is, in fact, a Lord. He revealed that his family name dates back to 1066, and he wears a family ring that symbolizes his family signet.

Charlie was one of the sweetest suitors on The Courtship, a show described as The Bachelorette meets Bridgerton. He has a cheerful personality and a positive outlook on life. Although Nicole did not choose him to be her true love, his commitment to staying friends with her and her family is a testament to the relationships that he built with everyone on the show. He is a true class act. Charlie may never have been in love before, but The Courtship audience fell in love with him. Hopefully, he will find the love that he is looking for soon.
