One Dragon Ball Villain is Begging to Be in a Fighting Game

After learning the powerful abilities of one Dragon Ball Super villain, it becomes clear that they are practically begging to be in a fighting game.

The Dragon Ball video games allow players to face each other in epic one-v-one style fighting, and one newly-introduced Dragon Ball Super villain who hasn’t yet been included in the games is practically begging to be a playable character. Moro is an ancient sorcerer who broke out of prison to wreak havoc upon the universe once more. Moro is easily one of the strongest threats the Z-Fighters have ever faced, and due to one particular ability, would be the most coveted avatar in any Dragon Ball fighting game.

In Dragon Ball Super Chapter 45 by Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou, Moro reveals that his power source comes from draining a planet of its life and manifesting that energy within himself. At his max strength, Moro can consume an entire world, giving him a power boost that even godlike forces struggle to overpower.

When Moro pulls the energy from a planet to give himself more strength, he is also siphoning energy from everyone who is standing on that planet. In the Dragon Ball Super manga, after Moro arrives on Planet Namek in search of the Dragon Balls, Goku and Vegeta challenge him to a fight as his energy level was remarkably low despite his reputation. Throughout the fight, Moro grew stronger while Goku and Vegeta grew weaker as Moro was not only absorbing every attack they threw at him, but he was also weakening them every second they shared a battleground with the evil sorcerer. Based on this ability, Moro would be the perfect playable character in a Dragon Ball game as anyone who played as him would be constantly stealing energy from their opponent during the fight even without landing a single blow.

If Moro’s power-draining ability was to be translated into a video game exactly as it is shown in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 45, then anyone who played as Moro would basically automatically win as all they would have to do is block any incoming attack and let the natural power-draining take effect. However, in Dragon Ball Super Chapter 48, it is revealed that there is one Dragon Ball character who is immune to that particular ability of Moro’s and would be the only character the opposing player would choose if they wanted to have any chance at beating the Moro PC.

Majin Buu is the only fighter who isn’t impacted by Moro’s power-draining ability and nearly kills the sorcerer in the manga. If Moro is adapted in a video game just as he is shown in the manga, then the only PC that could defeat him would be Majin Buu as both Goku and Vegeta proved to be ineffective against this insanely powerful threat. Only one other character could hope to defeat Moro in a one-on-one style fighting game, meaning Moro would be an epic playable character to have in any future Dragon Ball video game.
