Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands: Stabbomancer Class Leveling Guide

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Stabbomancer Class Leveling Guide

The Stabbomancer is the master of critical hits in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. But due to its lack of defensive traits, it can struggle during leveling.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was released with 6 classes for players to choose from when leveling a new character, with the Stabbomancer class being the best class for capitalizing on Critical Hits. Players that Enjoy seeing the big red “Critical” text filling their screen will want to choose the Stabbomancer during Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands character creation. Powerful critical hits and potent elemental statuses make Stabbomancer a very versatile, although fragile, class for players to level up.

Of all the classes, the Stabbomancer suffers the most in the early game but gears up into one of the strongest classes in the game. The heavy reliance on critical hits of the class means players will need to aim for vulnerable spots in the first few levels of the game. Players will want to keep their eyes out for Blackpowder weapons. A strong-hitting pistol, shotgun, or sniper rifle fits perfectly in the Stabbomancer’s early game tactics, where players should patiently line up vulnerable hits, guaranteeing a critical hit. Melee weapons in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands get stronger the further into the game players get, but early game players will struggle if they rely on their melee weapon as their damage source. Instead, melee weapons can let players stagger nearby enemies, giving the player time to line up a headshot.

Much of the Stabbomancer’s identity is contrary to this single shot playstyle, and players will want to switch out of this playstyle by the mid-game. What separates the Stabbomancer from other classes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is its Status Damage. While classes like the Graveborn, Clawbringer, and Brr Zerker specialize in specific elements, the Stabbomancer increases the strength of all of their elemental statuses. As players get to the mid-levels, they will want to transition from the single-shot Blackpowder weapons into an arsenal of automatic elemental weapons. Players may also choose to specialize in a single element if picking any of the element-focused multiclass options Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has to offer. Instead of lining up headshots, the Stabbomancer becomes a hit-and-run master of status conditions.

The Best Leveling Build For Stabbomancer

Players looking to level a Stabbomancer in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will need to alter their build depending on the player’s personal accuracy and comfortability. Players able to hit constant headshots during the chaotic fights of the game will want to throw all of their Hero Points into Strength to increase the damage of these critical hits. Players with less accuracy will want to divert points towards Constitution, to grant the player a minor increase to their survivability to give the player the extra second required to train the gun’s reticle on the enemy’s head. When choosing a character background in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Stabbomancer players should prioritize grabbing the ‘Village Idiot’ background unless their end-game build specifically relies on another background. This background increases the player’s damage at all stages of the game, without weakening the class’s greatest vulnerability, their Constitution.

The Skill Tree of the Stabbomancer struggles at the early stages of the game, so players will want to take skills that assist in the beginning stages of the game, respeccing into the more powerful skills after switching from Blackpowder weapons to elemental damage. ‘Arsenal’ will give players an increase in guns, spells, and melee weapons. ‘Haste’ and ‘Follow Up’ will help players reach Tier 3, where they will want to grab ‘Nimble Fingers’ and ‘Shadow Step’. By the time players reach Tier 4 skills, players will want to have transitioned to elemental damage, relying now on the right side of the tree. After unlocking multiclassing in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, players can also choose to invest mostly in their secondary class. The Stabbomancer can provide many low-tier passives that any class can find beneficial.
