TMNT: Shredder's Revenge - How to Beat Tempestra (Boss Guide)

Tempestra is the boss of Episode 6, “Mall Meltdown,” in TMNT Shredder’s Revenge. Defeat her minions to make her vulnerable, and avoid her electricity.

In TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Tempestra is one of the bosses that the Ninja Turtles and their allies will have to defeat, as she is one of the henchmen working for Shredder in the beat ’em up game. Tempestra is a recognizable villain from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle television series, and she’s just as dangerous in Shredder’s Revenge. Tempestra was originally from a video game within the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles called “Tempestra’s Revenge.” After the game was struck by lightning while Leonardo was playing it, Tempestra came to life and has been an antagonist of the Ninja Turtles ever since.

Tempestra is the main villain of Episode 6, “Mall Meltdown.” While stopping Tempestra is the major objective of the episode, the TMNT and other playable characters in Shredder’s Revenge can complete a series of optional challenges that take place throughout “Mall Meltdown” as well. Like other episodes in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, there are three optional challenges for players to complete. The first is to finish the level without using Super Attacks. The second challenge is to defeat five enemies by using Sliding Attacks. the final challenge is to toss enemies to break one clothes rack.

Before the Ninja Turtles reach the Tempestra boss fight in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, a Secret Diary, VHS tape, Napoleon cameo, Vernon cameo, and Disgusting Bug can all be found. The Secret Diary can be found shortly after Episode 6 begins by smashing a garbage can to the left of the “Taco’s” stand. Continuing through the episode, the VHS tape is located near the Random Clothing shop inside of a garbage can between two plants. Next, hit the Punk Frogs cardboard cutout to real Napoleon’s cameo. Afterward, Vernon’s cameo can be found in the arcade room by hitting the popcorn machine. Lastly, the Disgusting Bug can be found in another popcorn machine shortly thereafter.

Tempestra herself only has one attack, which involves summoning pink electricity to zap the TMNT. However, during this boss fight in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Tempestra will summon two arcade minions to fight for her. Furthermore, she will become immune when she is holographic.

To defeat Tempestra in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, players will need to beat her summoned goons to make her vulnerable once more. As her health gets lower, Tempestra will summon both minions at once. Defeat them quickly, then unleash a barrage of attacks to put an end to Tempestra.
