Where to Find Dung Eater & His Seedbed Curse Locations

Where to Find Dung Eater & His Seedbed Curse Locations

Dung Eater’s questline can only be progressed once Elden Ring Tarnished discover where his actual body is and the locations of five Seedbed Curses.

To progress through Dung Eater’s questline in Elden Ring, Tarnished must find where his real body is in the Royal Capital of Leyndell and locate five of his Seedbed Curses throughout the Lands Between. It is important to note that players will need to reach several late-game areas to access the curses’ locations as well as complete a few NPC questlines in Elden Ring.

First, once Tarnished have encountered Dung Eater in his corpse-filled room within the Roundtable Hold, they must present a Seedbed Curse to him to advance his story. The first Seedbed Curse location is in Leyndell and is closest to the East Capital Rampart Site of Grace. From here, head out the door and travel southwest across to the opposite side of the rampart wall. Next, go down the lift within the tower and enter the golden-dome building directly ahead. Climb the ladder and ascend the stairwell to the top. The curse will be on a seated corpse near the center of the room.

Next, after delivering the first Seedbed Curse to Dung Eater, he will give Tarnished a key to unlock his cell door within the sewers beneath the Royal City. Starting from Avenue Balcony Site of Grace in Elden Ring, go downstairs and head northwest until reaching a fallen pillar. Jump over the railing on the left and into the well below. Descend further into the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds to the Site of Grace at the Underground Roadside. Continue to explore the sewers to find Dung Eater’s cell at the end of the tunnel of Giant Poison Flowers and rats.

Once players have discovered Dung Eater’s true location, they must locate the remaining four Seedbed Curses. The next curse can be found not too far from the first, within Leyndell, Royal Capital. From the West Capital Rampart Grace Site, head west to the Fortified Manor, the Capital building identical to the Roundtable Hold. The curse is located within the alternate version of Dung Eater’s room.

Next, Tarnished will discover the third Seedbed Curse within Elden Ring’s Volcano Manor, specifically in the secret dungeon underground. Starting from the Temple of Eiglay Site of Grace, the player must cross a hazardous trail outside the temple to enter a hidden area in the manor. On the second floor of this secret chamber, players will find an Imp Statue sealed door. Use a Stonesword Key to enter through and complete the platforming challenge to find the curse.

Dung Eater’s last two Seedbed Curses are in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. Depart from the Prayer Room head north until reaching a gazebo. Walk up the upward slope behind it and follow along the balcony ledge to find the curse on a seated corpse at the end. Finally, to find the fifth curse in Elden Ring, go out the same way as before, but this time, drop down to the lower levels below until reaching an unlit stairwell. Descend into the room and turn right to find the last curse on a body near a ledge.
